Covid-19 Information

Dear Family and Friends,

We are looking forward to celebrating with you at our wedding on January 29, 2022 at Camp Lucy. Given the times we are living in, we wanted to share important safety protocols we will be following during the event. You and our wedding vendors’ health and safety are our #1 priority. Please take the time to read this email carefully and reach out to us with any questions.

In Case of Illness: If you feel sick or are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, or loss of smell and taste on the day of the wedding, please stay home so as not to spread infection to anyone.

Guest Count: We are expecting 235 guests, which aligns with local and state ordinances and our venue’s capacity restrictions.

Venue:

  • Wedding ceremony is outside (Heaters provided if necessary)

  • Cocktail Hour is outside (Heaters provided if necessary)

  • Reception is indoors, however, weather permitting we will leave large patio doors open to help with air flow.

  • There is an additional bar located outside on the large patio area.

  • Food stations will be located outside on the grassy area around the patio.

  • Although the reception has table assignments, there will be limited seating at outdoor cocktail tables with chairs and lounge areas if any guests are more comfortable eating outside.

  • Camp Lucy has taken every measure to keep guests safe including an air filtration system to keep clean air circulating throughout the night.

Masks: We are not requiring mask use for guests; however, we will have custom masks available for any guest that would like or need added protection. All our on-site wedding vendors will be wearing masks.

Wristbands:  We will provide red, green and yellow wrist bands for those that  would like to wear them to identify their own level of preferred social distancing.

Cards and Gifts: Your presence is present enough! But should you choose to bring a gift to the wedding, there will be a table set up where you can leave your items, rather than handing them to us directly.

Food and Drink Service: All staff at Camp Lucy will be serving our guests while wearing gloves and masks.

Hand Sanitizer: We will provide hand sanitizer to each guest and offer a sanitizing station at the venue. Please practice good hand hygiene after touching surfaces and feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer if desired.

Covid Testing:  Testing prior to coming to the wedding is not required, however, we do encourage guests that may have been exposed to get a test a few days prior to traveling to the wedding.

Postponement Information: The wedding will not be postponed unless there is a federal or state mandate to postpone all weddings.  We plan to move forward with the wedding as planned!

We know this is a lot of information to digest, and we appreciate you taking the time to read through this note. We are excited to share this celebratory event with you. Please feel free to reach out to us via email at suzwaddell@msn.com or text at 972-658-1581 with any questions.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation, and we look forward to seeing you January 29th!

Love, Mack and Jack!
